The Research Of Core Competitiveness Of Newly-established Local Colleges

With the coming of knowledge economy era, the structural reforms of higher education in China is going further, higher education experienced through the phase of "elite education" to "mass education". A large number of the newly-established local colleges that spring from reorganization of the colleges have mushroomed. As an important part of higher education, create strengths of these the newly-established local colleges, establish a sense of competition to build up forces to enhance their core competitiveness, becoming the important problem that each of the newly must to confront.Usually the study objects of core competitiveness are enterprises but the universities, especially the newly-established local colleges. This paper try to apply the core competitiveness theory into The newly-established local colleges, and use the theory ,concepts and methods of core competitiveness in enterprise which has been basically developed to analyze the core competitiveness in the newly-established local colleges comprehensively and systematically .Through this thesis, I hope the managers of such institutions will be able to understand the concept of core competitiveness correctly, and will also know how to apply core competitiveness theory actively in the development of the institutions, and how to foster and enhance the core competitiveness of these colleges. At the same time, this study aims to break through "bottlenecks" when face to problems in competition, and to provide theoretical support to deal with the low level of competitiveness and insufficient power in these the newly-established local colleges overall, also to provide some strategic countermeasures for the educational administrative departments to enhance the competitiveness of the newly-established local colleges.This article is divided into five parts. The first part discusses the background, significance, research status home and abroad, and research methods of this study; second part defines the characteristics and the basic content of core competencies firstly, and discussed the basic content, elements , function and the role of the core competitiveness in the university on the basis of the definition above; the third part analyze the background of these the newly-established local colleges through their specificity, competitive situation, and the demand and feasibility of the core competitiveness; fourth part is the detailed analysis of core competitiveness of Newly, covering the content, elements, characteristics, formation mechanism of core competitiveness of Newly, and the principles in the course of core competencies developing ; the fifth part is to discuss the strategies of enhance core competitiveness, and draw up the index system of core competitiveness evaluation of the newly-established local colleges.
