Suggestopedia Analysis Of Politics In High School

Suggestopedia means to influence the thoughts and behaviors of students through language and performance in an active condition, leading them to accept voluntarily the hinter's or the educator's views, opinions and certain ways of doing things. Suggestopedia in many cases is a kind of psychological guidance. It can be deemed as a guided, enlightening and self-educated teaching method rather than the way to teach the student directly the findings or results concluded by others.Suggestopedia is an indispensable teaching method of political course in high school and it sometimes can achieve special teaching purpose which might be failed in others ways. However, in practice, Suggestopedia is not paid enough attention in class and students hardly achieve any reward in this teaching method. What cause this passive situation are not only the students'characteristics and intersects but also the teachers'unawareness of the importance of Suggestopedia, inability to keep pace of the times, separation of the teaching and practice and the imperfect examination mechanism .A reform should be carried out in class to change this situation and Suggestopedia should be applied in political course. The key measures to optimize the political education in high school are suggested to be as follows: enhancing students'interests in learning through Suggestopedia, improving teachers'ability to apply Suggestopedia in class, paying great attention to curriculum evaluation and improving teaching materials and management.
