Language teaching of reading has been the highlight of high school language teaching. Both at the theoretical level, or in the teaching practice, the importance of teaching reading have been fully understood and implemented. New Curriculum for Chinese reading classes also put forward higher requirements which are more detailed and explicit. However, in the current teaching practice, we see that the students are lack of interest in Chinese reading lesson, and their motivation is not strong. What's worse, there exist some serious problems, such as teachers'inadequate understanding of the concept of the new curriculum, that is to say, wearing new shoes to walk the old path, and ineffiency of their classroom reading instruction.It is because of these problems, the quality of the Chinese language teaching can not be improved greatly.In order to solve these problems, many researchers have studied a lot of the teaching of reading from different angles involving criticism on the reading material, accusations on the exam-oriented education,discussion about the teaching of reading and so on. In my opinion, of course, the above-mentioned research is reasonable and fruitful, however, teaching is a bilateral activity, especially reading instruction, and teachers themselves should not be overlooked, because the teachers are a special kind of curriculum resources. They have the dual function of material resources (knowledge, skills, and experience, etc.) and conditionality resources (space, facilities, and equipment, etc.) In the process of teaching, teachers'cultural background, academic accomplishment, practical ability, the art of education, personality charm and other characteristics will be naturally and organically combined with the teaching content and become part of the course content. With the new curriculum reform sweeping the forefront of teaching in high school, the new curriculum is being promoted faster and faster, but the improvement of teachers'quality is lagging behind. The factors of teachers themselves have become the bottleneck in the development of curriculum in depth. This paper will put forward some comments from the perspective of the quality of Chinese teacher in high school through the analysis of the survey of the first-line teachers, to improve the quality of the Chinese language teaching of reading.This paper is divided into three parts. The first part, explaining clearly the specific meaning of the quality of teachers in the teaching of reading, through their own teaching practice.The second part, explaining clearly the specific meaning of the quality of teachers in the teaching of reading, through their own teaching practice.The third part, analyzing the reason by conducting a questinare survey of the quality of the first-line teachers in the teaching of reading.
