Education is an important way to train and select talents. Especially in the increasingly competitive today, education is the focus of attention for the people of circles. In the early days, the party and government leaders took the problem of excessive pressure seriously. But this problem puzzled the primary and middle school students, and hindered seriously the full promotion and development of quality education. And excessive learning pressure has also caused severe affection to the young people's sound in health and mind and long-term development. Education department put a series of policy measures forward. Though some success has been achieved, the heavy burden of primary and middle school students has still not curbed effectively until today. Maybe in school, students'burdens is reduced, but after school the burdens is still heavy because of lots of homework, being asked to participate in remedial classes, the pressure from parents and the community. Therefore, it will have important theoretical and practical significance which investigate excessive learning pressure through explaining the distribution of spare time in compulsory education stage, offer a basis for parents and education department proposing effective policy measures. This thesis basing on the survey database of students'distribution of spare time in city of Dalian on compulsory education stage, explained the level of learning pressure on primary and secondary students through the analysis the distribution of spare time. The paper analyzed the influence factors using factor analysis and correspondence analysis. Education department and parents judge whether a student has too much pressure according the regional characteristics, and then take appropriate measures to alleviate the pressure on primary and secondary students.Paper is divided into five chapters, theses of structure and content as follows:The first chapter is introduction. This chapter begins by describing the background and research purposes of this paper, and then the structure of this articles, as well as research methods. The second chapter is literature review. This chapter defined firstly the concept of learning pressure and spare time, summed up a number of policy papers about reducing burdens on home and abroad. And summarize the theories of Chinese scholars about learning burden of primary and middle school students. The third chapter is the compare of distribution of spare time between home and aboard. Firstly it explains present conditions of the distribution of students' spare time in city of Dalian using the survey data. Then it, which compared the distribution of spare time with American students, analyzes the differences and learn foreign experience, settles the base for proposing policies of reducing burdens. The fourth chapter is measure of level about learning pressure. It analyzes the distribution of spare time of primary and middle school students who are in compulsory education stage through the factor analysis and correspondence analysis. And we derive the size of the position about students'learning pressure in every grade by factor analysis model, and then analyze which factor is more sensitive in different pressure levels by correspondence analysis model. The fifth chapter is conclusions, policies and recommendations. It analyzes the conclusions of model, and puts the policies and recommendations. This independent work and innovations embodied mainly in:first, collect a large number of domestic and foreign literature about learning pressure on compulsory education stage, and have done a systematic, detailed summarize of these theories; second compare the distribution of spare time with foreign students', analyze the differences between them and learn foreign experience, settle the base for proposing policies of reducing burdens; third, correspondence analysis apply generally to market segmentation, product positioning, geological studies, and computer engineering and so on, but no scholars used it to education. So this thesis used boldly the method to analyze relation between distribution of spare time of primary and middle school students and learning pressure, and the results were ideal.
