Postgraduate education is changing from mode-based academic to mode-based applied. With this change, postgraduate education for professional degrees occupies an increasingly important position in the overall structure of postgraduate education. In order to ensure education quality of postgraduate education for professional degrees, it is necessary to make scientific and effective quality evaluation as a guide. Construction of index system is the basis of education quality evaluation, but the construction of index system must be based on theoretical basis or theoretical perspective, so determining evaluation dimensions is the prerequisite of constructing index system. Based on this, this article chooses evaluation dimensions for education quality of postgraduate professional degrees as the topic, takes typical evaluation system as examples, researches on evaluation dimensions for education quality of postgraduate professional degrees at home and abroad, in order to improve the effectiveness of evaluation for education quality of postgraduate professional degreesThis article takes countries such as US, UK, Germany and Japan as examples, in-depth analysis of usually used dimensions in foreign countries such as "education investment of colleges","orientation of market and customer","professional ability","service quality of education".Based on this, this article analyzes evaluation dimensions of professional graduate education in our country, summarizes commonly used evaluation dimensions such as "input-output efficiency", "school culture process" and ""orientation of market and customer" and point out shortcomings:evaluation dimensions are too materialistic, and neglect of requirements of education laws and self-development of students; evaluation dimensions are limited and do not mention dimensions of "professional ability" and "service quality of education";evaluation dimensions are not clearly defined, leading to evaluation index chaos. Finally, this article proposes solutions:change quality concept, and education quality of professional degree; learn international experiences and evaluate education quality of postgraduate professional degrees from multiple dimensions; choose reasonable evaluation dimensions according needs of evaluation.
