Higher vocational education guarantee enough talents for developing economy in China and plays an important role in the process of economy reconstruction and upgrading industries. With social improvements and increasing demands, the status of higher vocational education increase among public and how to foster excellent vocational students and how to carry out career guidance effectively for vocational students has become the center of people's attention. Though previous studies showed that values, achievement, motivation and CDMSE have important reference value for cultivating university students and career guidance, it is a pity that the studies for higher vocational students are few, even fewer are studies on relations between vocational students' values, achievement motivation and CDMSE. Therefore, trying to investigate the status and of vocational students' values, achievement, motivation and CDMSE and analyses the relations between students' values, achievement, motivation and CDMSE, this research offers reference and new insights for further research on vocational students.The vocation values questionnaire made by Ling Wenquan etc., the Chinese version of achievement motivation questionnaire by Ye Renmin and the revised Career Decision-making Self-efficacy questionnaire by Long Yanmei have been used in this study. A survey has been made in industrial economy of Anhui Vocational and Technical College, Anhui Vocational and Technical School, Vocational and Technical College Anhui Province, Anhui Vocational College of Water,using the method of random cluster sampling.500 questionnaires were handed out, among which 449 questionnaires were valid. The results show:First, significant difference exists in higher vocational students' values, owing to difference in ender, grade, subject, position and practice experience. Reputation of work values varies greatly among vocational students of different gender, disciplines and position; Self-development varies greatly among vocational high school students of different grades and practical experience; Maintenance differs among vocational students of different positions.Second, achievement motivation of higher vocational students was significantly different in grade, subject, position and practical experience while where there is no significant difference in gender. Students of different positions and different experiences total score of achievement motivation; Students of different grades, different subjects,different representation, different practice experience have great difference in seeking success.Third, remarkable difference exists higher vocational students' CDMSE because of difference in gender, grade, subject, position and practice experience. Higher vocational students of different genders have significant difference in the total scores of CDMSE, gathering information and planning; Vocational students different grades have significant difference in the total score of CDMSE, the goal of screening and problem solving; Vocational students of different subjects have a significant difference in the total score of CDMSE, self-evaluation, information gathered, target selection and plan; Vocational students different positions and practice experiences have a significant difference in the total score of CDMSE and its dimensions.Forth, work value and achievement motivation are closely related to each other. Reputation of work value has a remarkable positive interaction with seeking success and avoiding failure; Maintenance of work value also has a remarkable positive interaction with seeking success and avoiding failure; Self-development has a remarkable positive interaction with seeking success and CDMSE.Fifth, achievement motivation and CDMSE are closely related to each other. Seeking success has a remarkable positive interaction with the five dimensions of CDMSE and CDMSE itself; Avoiding failure has no positive interaction with CDMSE. Achievement motivation has a positive interaction with the five dimensions of CDMSE and CDMSE itself.Sixth, work value and CDMSE are closely related to each other. Reputation, maintenance and self-development of work value have a positive interaction with the five dimensions of CDMSE and CDMSE itself. Among the three factors, self-development has a most remarkable positive interaction with each dimension of CDMSE.Seventh, work value has a strong influence on CDMSE. Self-development and reputation of work value together can, to a great degree, predict CDMSE.Eighth, achievement and motivation has a strong influence on CDMSE. Achievement and motivation and its dimension of seeking success together can, to a great degree, predict CDMSE.Ninth, achievement and motivation of vocational students is an important agency connecting between work values and CDMSE. Reputation of work value act on CDMSE by the role of achievement and motivation.
