In the recent 30 years, the theory and practice reseach of classroom management has been developing rapidly. Problems still exist in the process of the classroom management's improvement. Once someone raised a question:"why students don't do we hope they do," the very important reason is that the things what we ask students to do are against the need of the students, or we haven't done enough to meet their need. As a result, they lose the enthusiasm and the responsibility for the mission. The Classroom management problems largely depend on this. "Giving students what they need and getting what you want", this is the secret of improving classroom management by satisfying the students'need.The students' need is separated into five types:the physical need, the security and respect need, the love and belonging need, the self-efficacy need and the learning need. By the survey of students'need in W Middle School, we can get the satisfied degree of students'need. At the same time, the writer analyses the correlation between different needs and students'charcteristics as well the need that havn't been satisfied. At last, the writer sums up a series of strategies of meeting students'need to improve the classroom management.Main Ideas:Giving students what they need and getting what you want. Respect and satisfy the students'need, for it is the basical way to improve the classroom management. Main Result:a. The love and belonging need is best satisfied.b. Unsatisfied notes:Homework is too much.A lot of students can't see the blackboard clearly.The teachers teach too fast and often delay the class and so on.
