Career decision-making difficulties refer to all-possible difficulties that one may encounter during the career choice and decision making in the phases of professional entering and career transition , which lead to unclear what kind of job to do or unable to make a choice from more than one career. Many graduates are plagued currently with employment, and successful career decision is one of important factors affected the employment of graduates. The purpose of this study is to understand the situation about the graduates Career decision-making, furthermore, studying the relationship among family functions, decision-making style and career decision-making difficulties to provide some vocational counseling advices and guidance for the students, families and schools. Help students to reduce the difficulties which encountered in the career decision-making, and promoting their ability to make successful and effective career decision making. The conclusions are as follows:1. From the whole, college graduates' family functions, career decision-making difficulties are at medium level. Most graduates tend to be rational style.2.Professional main effects: the scores of science students' the general functioning, communication and affective involvement were significantly higher than liberal arts students; arts students tend to be the rational style and science students tend to be the avoidant style;3. School type main effect: the scores of undergraduates' general functioning, communication, roles, affective involvement, behavior control and problem-solving were significantly higher than junior college students'; junior college students tend to be the rational style or dependent style, undergraduate students more inclined to avoidant style; undergraduates experience more difficulties in career decision than junior college students.4. The main effect of gender: female' family function was significantly better than male; girls prefer rational style.5. Interaction: the interaction of professional and school types in general function, communication, roles, affective involvement dimension, professional and gender in the behavioral control were significant. The interaction of professional and school types in the rational style and dependent style, professional and gender in rational style is significant. In the career decision-making difficult dimensions of the conflicts, professional, school type and gender have significant interaction.6, family function, decision-making styles, career decision-making difficulty is related closely. Family function with the rational style and dependent style was significantly negatively correlated, with the avoidant style a significant positive correlation; family function with the career decision-making difficulties was a positive correlation; career decision difficulties with rational type was negatively correlated, with avoidant, intuitive-impulsive, dependent style positive correlation.7. Regression analysis showed that family functioning and rational decision-making style's dimension both can effectively predict career decision-making difficulty.8. Mediating effect test results show that the avoidant decision-making style play a partial intermediary role in family function and career decision-making difficulty.
