The Comparative Study On Time Management Disposition Between The Deaf And The Common College Students In Henan

As the introduction of time management from western, more and more national psychologists take this issue into their research domain.They regard time management ability is a stable personality trait.In the domain of psychology, the amount of researches on time management is increasing more and more, such as focusing on the relationships between time management ability and academic performance, character achievement motive, self-esteem etc. But these researches are about the common and perfect students, few about the deaf group, special about the study on time management of the deaf college students and the comparative study between deaf and common college students is nearly blank.This research hopes to do some deep research and analysis on this issue, according to the factual problems faced to college students' time management disposition and the deficiency of past researches, take a compare between the deaf and common college students, using the "Adolescence Time Management Disposition Questionnaire", in order to investigate the influence factors and similarities and differences of time management between the two groups.Tests were carried out on the 374 deaf and common college students who were adopted randomly from two universities in Henan, After data analysis, we reach the conclusions as follows:(1) There's significant difference between the deaf and common college students'time management disposition.this is the sense of time efficacy, social-oriented time value, planning, priorities, feedback and the efficacy of time management.(2) The following factors influence deaf college students' time management disposition: gender,grade,discipline,the source of region,one's feeling of his or her major,part-time job,boy friend or girl friend,the level of parents' education.(3) The common college students also show significant difference on grade,leader on campus,leader in class,part-time job,boy friend or girl friend,the level of mother's education.
