On The Specialization Development Of Maths Teachers

Teachers' specialization has been an inevitable tendency of times. This research, which employs the methods of literature and data, interview, questionnaire and theoretical research , has based on the connotation and characteristics of maths teachers' specialization analysed the present situation and tendency of maths teachers' specialization at home and abroad and explored five major factors that influence the specialization development of maths teachers' including the faith in maths education, the maths professional knowledge, the maths teaching abilities and teachers' professional attitude. According to the situation of the present practice of Maths Curriculum Standards and the specialized level of the teachers, this research has put forword approaches and models for the specialization development of maths teachers in the new round reform of elementary education curriculums as follow:a."Exploration and innovation"- that is to focus on the development and improvementof maths teachers' educational practice and creative abilities. b.'Tractice and research"- that is to focus on the renewal of maths teachers' knowledgestructure and the improvement of the abilities.c."Probe and reconsideration"- that is to focus on the cultivation and improvement of maths teachers' reconsideration consciousness, probing abilities and cooperation spirit. d."Self-study and improvement" -that is to focus on the cultivation and improvement ofmaths teachers' lifelong study abilities.Finally, it has given a prospect for the development of the future maths education and the degree of the specialized level of maths teachers. And it has pointed out a further tendency for the development of maths teachers' specialization.
