21st century is an internet era , the human being's activity will largely rely on internet, and the education of the new century couldn't work without internet . Internet has extended educational space greatly with its advanced technology , changed the relationship between teaching and learning , and also enhanced the student's motive and efficiency in learning . Instructional model based on internet regards the student as the center of instruction . Now it is challenging the traditional ones , and must be the major instructional model . As a new style of education , net-based instruction will be an important means to build the all-life-learning system , achieve equal educational chance , and adjust education to the information society .Divided into four chapters , this article analyses the model of net-based instruction .The formation and development of internet are introduced briefly in chapter one . It mainly discusses the great influence of internet on instruction from six fields . Lastly , the characters of net-based instruction are concluded.The second chapter primarily introduces what is instructional model . There are three different opinions about it in current. From these theories the author draws out the concept of instructional model, and analyses the component parts of this . At present the traditional model has many shortcomings which restrain the students' interests and motives of learning . While the model of net-based instruction emphasizes the principal status of students in instruction , and meets the needs of the times .The chapter three is the main part of this article , which particularly discusses the model of net-based instruction from the following three sides: the theoretical basis , support system, and instructional models.The formation of instructional model is directed by the theory . The net-based instruction has cooperative, mutual and multimedia characters , etc . So its the theoretical basis contains five sorts of theories , such as audio-visual theory , teaching theory , learning theory , systematic theory and communicational theory . All of these theories are individually described in the chapter.The support system is composed of hardware system and software system . The former is the imperative condition for net-based instruction to work . It is formed of multimedia classroom , computer , projector , etc . The latter is the main body of support system , which is divided into four subsystems to be detailed .The model of net-based instruction has different styles based on different communicational mechanism . The author emphatically analyses ten sorts of models integrating instructional practices . The teacher should apply these models in a flexible way , constantly reform them , and create the new ones which can highly suit subjects .Nowadays , there are many problems in the appliance of net-based instruction . In the last chapter , the author points out seven serious problems and puts forward some proposals to solve them.With the rapid development of information technology , more and more countries in the world are beginning to emphasize the net-based instruction . Its future is uncountable . So we must grasp the opportunity to bring about a great advance in our country's education .
