The ability of social adaptability means that people can adapt to the social environments, act as a social role and engage in social activities. Specifically, it includes the abilities of self-teaching, cooperation, self-control, resist depressions, be smart, self-recommendation, competition and creation. The basic starting point and the main task of all kinds of education is to train the ability of social adaptability of the students. Therefore, as for the vocational school, it has an unsinkable duty on fulfilling that. Whether the vocational school students can improve their social adaptability will not only affect the students' employment, but also influence the existence and development of the vocational school. This article concerns the aims, contents, ways, administration of the social adaptability, based on the training and study of the students in three grades at Shanghai Zhenhua Foreign Trade Professional School, with the knowledgeof pedagogy, administration psychology and sociology etc. This article is divided into five parts. The academic value, practical significance and its importance are considered in the first part. The academic achievements and problems are reviewed in the second part. The case in Shanghai Zhenhua Foreign Trade Professional School is examined in the third part. The theoretical question on the training of social adaptability is probed in the fourth part. The conclusion is made in the last part.
