It is highly advocated that we must promote such interaction between teacher and student that is positive, appropriate and harmonious in the process of teaching under the current basic educational reform on curriculum and instruction. With the influence of this idea, the mechanism and actual effect of teacher-student interaction in classroom has been becoming a core issue that educational and teaching research focus on. Middle school stage is just a key period for teenagers to shape and develop its cognition, emotion, attitude and value with a rapid speed. In this period, they not only have more nice expectation for teachers and themselves, but also show stronger desire for knowledge and interpersonal interaction. In the classroom of middle school, positive and effective teacher-student interaction can be helpful for them to finish the tasks of teaching and learning with high efficiency and to construct and create new knowledge and ability, finally, to realize their common development. So, it has more practical significance to focus on and explore the issue of teacher-student interaction in current middle school classroom. In this paper, firstly, the theoretical background of teacher-student interaction research is looked back; secondly, focusing on the middle school classroom, the status quo of teacher-student interaction is described and analyzed by the ways of observation and interview; thirdly and finally, based on the former, some effective promotive strategies of teacher-student interaction are explored, for reference to the teaching reform of classroom in middle school and the...
