Ideological and political course, one of the important subjects in our school education, plays a special educative role in the whole educational system. Educational department has made a clear statement in a new standard curriculum: Moral Thought course in primary school and ideological Political course in high school are two obligatory courses aiming at giving students a systematical ideologe education elementary Marxism education as well as basic social science education. The Marxism thought and the moral thought in universities, two required courses, cultivate students moral thought and Marxism theory. They are also main channel in school's moral education as well as a symbol for our socialist education. Furthermore, They will play an important role in establishing gradually correct political direction, cultivating students good moral character, forming a civilized behave and shaping a cored world view, life view and value view. However, in terms of comprehensive aspects, the present teaching status of ideological and political course is not so good and its function hasn't gained urniversal recognition.This situation is caused by many reasons including teaching material, teaching method, the quality of teachers, recent appraisal system, people's recognition of the value of political course, school leader's ignorance to political education and so on. However, investigation shows that, among those various reasons, the teaching method is one of the most important ones. It is also the second one among seven reasons for leading to students' low grade record in ideological political teaching so seeking new ideological political teaching mothed is an important means of pimproving ideological and politieal course teaching. Among all thosemeans, practicing the question inquiry mode in class teaching method is a useful way to change the situation of ideological political courese teaching.This article first explains the special significance of the question inquing mode to ideological and political teaching, it's meaning, objection, construction and features. Then it furthers on its theory basis, the idea of experiment research design, the procedure and strategy, and its result judgement.All this constitute a systematical research to the question inquinry mode teaching method of ideological and political thought course, besides it is also an useful exploration for the question inquiry mode of ideological and political course.The article adopts document method, experiment method and inquire method in the subject research. It also makes use of various logical means, such as deduction, induction, analysins, synthersie, association and compare. So the experiments and their result can be of referential significance.All this statement is based on my personal teaching practice, the experiment condition of the question inquiry mode of ideological and political thought teaching method is embodied in this article. This is a initial summary to the past experiment, but also a next deep develop to promote the question inquiry mode of ideological and political course practice and research. In other words, this article is the end of periods as well as a new start.
