| The new curriculum standard for senior middle school in China advances many conceptions, of whose theoretical growing point is comprehensive practical activity, the core of which is reseach-based learning. One of the objective of putting the new curriculum standard to use is to expedite the transform of students' learning style.Teachers, as key figures in the enforcement of the new curriculum standard, must give first place to their role remoulding. Only when they have transformed their roles from traditional teachers to modern ones, they will fill the new basic education innovation and even all of capabilities' education with life and vigour, thus giving the impetus to thorough change of training talents'style.The new curriculum standard for senior middle school in our country is the programmatic document that stipulates its curriculum level and structure .It is not only the soul of education for senior middle school but also the embodiment of state will in the field of curriculum.Looking far and wide the development history of the basic education innovation at home and abroad, if we ensure that the new curriculum standard will be carried out smoothly, we ,above all, must impel teachers to take an active part in the education innovation, and to press on towards modern teachers' roles actively. Meanwhile, we must also pay more attention to the study on the remoulding of teachers'role .Since the new century, the new curriculum standards for all subjects have been born in succession, and the proving teaching materials have been used in 11 pro vines or cities. In order to lean the teachers' comprehension for the new curriculum standard and the role remoulding in whose school the experimental teaching materials have not been in use now ,and in hoping of providing full and accurate data for teachers' further study on this subject, and also supplying motive support for the new curriculum standards'overall use, the author have investigated the transform of teachers'role in an ordinary but representative school for six month through a public opinion poll, interviewing teachers and students, studying documents. It indicates the following status quotation. Most of the teachers in XiPing Senior Middle School are far from the new curriculum standard, whose education concepts and teaching styles fall behind modern social development atleast 10 years. Firstly the concept of teaching in 83.4%of teachers are constrained by traditional ones. Secondly the passing on knowledge of 84.5% is mainly way. Thirdly 88.7 % of teachers lack of an overall analysis of information. Fourthly in the education-based study 87.2% have not enough knowledge and technique about it. Fifthly as for the lifelong education 85.4% deem firmly the knowledge they learned in the past will last forever. So remoulding teachers'role needs to root fresh scientific conceptions in their brains, constantly bring forth new ideas in the teaching-study activity, take proper measures in education management, form an advanced leader team, especially for teachers, change teaching style initiatively and so on. |
