It is the useful means to measure students, to appraise teaching quality and to choose the important talents,reflects the achievements of the educational teaching level, educational reforms, the school disciplines and so on. Thus, the credibility of the examination can be guaranteed.However, at present, in the various kinds of examinations, the phenomenon of cheating in examinations takes place occasionally, and tends to be even more serious — group cheating can be found in some places. We must realize it clearly that if the situation still exists and no measures to be taken to prevent it, it will do great harm to the quality of education, the election of the talents and the fairness of competitions. Therefore, it is very urgent to change the current situation.This text mainly states and analyzes the main causes of cheating in examinations deeply through theoretical research and explores the effective measures to get rid of cheating in examinations.This text is made up of three parts. The first part analyses the cheating phenomenon in educational examinations, classifies cheating and analyses the new fends of cheating, therefore we can realize the harm of cheating and the urgency research into cheating. The second part analyses the causes of the cheating formation from the view of sociology, psychology ,economics and pedagogy. The third part is the key part of the essay, containing the strategy. According to the causes, the perfect methods to prevent thecheating are discovered from 3 aspects: strengthening the trustworthiness education, building the system of trustworthiness, promoting the process of testing based on law and reforming the educational examine system.
