From 1970's, the thinking of human society's system and traditional industrial civilization, these trouble effects put forward and try to implement a complete new philosophy of sustainable development. It needs not only the government's implement, but also needs the participation of the public. The decision makers of government, executives and the public all need scientific concept of sustainable development. From 1990's, many courses of middle schools, high schools in many countries, districts are added some teaching contents on sustainable development. Chinese government emphasizes the education on this aspect to high school students. In the new geography course of high schools, it is quite necessary to teach some common sense and theories of sustainable development. The thesis tries to analyze teaching contents and teaching strategies on sustainable development on the high school geography course.
