Research And Practice On Inner Teaching Quality Guarantee System In Universities And Colleges

With recent years'enormous enrollments in universities and colleges, china has stepped into the popularized age of higher education. This greatly meets people's needs on education and causes many quality problems as well, such as the wider difference among freshmen, increasing educational investment difficulty, every student's educational resources becoming shorter. On the other hand, employers require young employee with new idiosyncrasy. These make traditional teaching quality management pattern faced serious challenges. Under the new conditions, how to guarantee and enhance teaching quality is a great task for universities and colleges to improve their core-compentece and adopt the society request. Thus, universities and colleges must explore a set of scientific, normative and effective pattern of teaching quality management in their education activities, to meet the development of society and massive higher education.This essay aims to explore a new pattern of teaching quality management in universities and colleges from academic and practical aspect—to design and operate a set of scientific and effective inner teaching quality guarantee system. First, I explain some basic concepts such as quality, teaching quality, teaching quality guarantee system, and then explore the main connotation and characters about inner teaching quality guarantee system in universities and colleges. After exploring the foundation both in theory and practice through referring to TQM & ISO9000 widely used in corporation, with the higher education theory involved, and analyzing the main factors influencing teaching quality, several elementary principles are put forward for building up inner teaching quality guarantee system in universities and colleges. Based on those, using a way of systems analysis to put up a structure of inner teaching quality guarantee system, which comprise teaching quality goal system, teaching quality object system, teaching quality guarantee organization, teaching quality information feedback system, teaching quality ensuring activity system and education research and service support system.
