With the coming of the Information Society, the requirements for society members are higher than ever before and information technology education becomes very important. The quality of the teachers who teach the information technology is a key factor in the implementing of the information technology education. This study is aimed for the effective way to train the teachers so as to improve their abilities and qualities.According to the questionnaire data about the status quo and the training of the teachers, their qualities need to be improved. But some problems exist in today's training and the teachers' need of training cannot be satisfied. To make the training more effective, a new method is suggested. The model is centered on activities and games are introduced into the training. During the train, teachers learn by doing and playing.ased on the Training of the Senior High School Information Teachers which is the subproject of experiment in "Partners in Learning" project launched by Ministry of Education and Microsoft (China), the meaning and the design principles are discussed. The method and the procedures of game designing are explained in detail. At the end of paper, the process of implementing the project is presented and the evaluation on it is given.
