Reading is a peculiar social work activity for human beings to know our world . In the quality-oriented education of Chinese and even the whole education, reading plays an very important role , undertaking a special task. Reading teaching is the carriers of our national culture; it is the cradle of a new generation and it is the center and foundation of the whole Chinese teaching as well. (Learning Chinese by Quan shuming 1996). 21st century is an economic era driven by knowledge, so now we are facing an information-intensive society . This reminds us that efficient reading aiming to get enough information has stepped into our life . (prospect of Chinese teaching in 21st century course , teaching material , teaching method written by Zhangxiong) With the development of society, it proposes a higher requirement in reading and at the same time the value of reading has been demonstrated more fully. "The level of one's reading comprehansion will decide the total amount of his knowledge, and the total amount of knowledge is determining the quality of his work more or less. "(Zhu shaoyu) "Reading ability is a learning ability of sustainable development; Only mastering reading can you survive and develop in the society."(Clirifying for reading Ganqixun) In terms of education , Only when you have learned how to read can you realise sustainable development in your study and word afterwards and meet the needs of the economic era driven by knowledge.(Zeng xiangqin) In order to meet the demand of the society, we have to place training reading on the preferential development status of life-long education .Mr. Zhang Zhigong has pointed out in the eighties: " Many people cared about a problem that is, how to read well, read fast , understand correctly, how to grasp what you want sensitively and remember it , and how to read efficiently. Ten years past, reading unefficiently remains a great difficult problem in the teaching of middle school . How did it come about? I'm afraid that it is related to the educators' ignores to the essence of reading leading to the deviation in reading teaching. Educating psychologists pointed out:" reading is a kind of social work activity , a complicated physiological course , and a kind of cognitive activity involed in many kinds of psychological factors. But, many Chinese teachers only regards it as a kind of pure intellectual activities and a process transmitting knowledge. So they pay more efforts in reading skills, reading methods and the analysis of articles, but have neglected the research and guidance of reading psychology . Though some education theory workers and teachers aiming to reform have done a lot of research and discussions from different sides about reading teaching , reading has not been paid enough attention and have not become conscious action of vast Chinese teacher's educational tragic resulting from the lagging of theoretical research guidance, the influence of the traditional education idea, constraint of exam-oriented education.Therefore, this article will demostrate the question in three aspects from psychological angle practically and theoretically:...
