From "A teacher for a day is a father for a lifetime" in ancient to "Be a teacher and friend" in present, the relationship between teachers and students are concerned by people. Middle school is a special period for an individual person. With the social development, the traditional relationship between teachers and students faces serious challenge. The conflicts between teachers and students take place frequently and become more and more serious. Therefore, it's very important to know how to strengthen the management of conflicts between teachers and students in middle school for its education and teaching.Through investigation, the writer got to know the common phenomenon and features of the conflicts between teachers and students in middle school. The main features include the following aspects.①Most of the conflicts happen in class.②Boys are easier to be in conflict with teachers than girls.③Male teachers are easier to be in conflict with students than female teachers.④The class headmaster are more easier to be in conflict with students than course teachers.⑤Young and middle-aged teachers are easier to be in conflict with students than old teachers. At the same time, the investigation shows that there are some problems when the teachers and students treat and deal with the conflicts. For instance, the teachers and students have an error in judgment on the conflicts, the teachers like glossing over the real reasons of conflicts and they are more extreme and impatient when they face and deal with the conflicts.On analyzing the phenomenon, features and problems of the conflicts between teachers and students in middle school, the writer studied the process of conflicts between teachers and students, management links and management rules, and put forward some strategies of how to prevent and remove the conflicts between teachers and students in middle school. On the aspect of how to prevent the conflicts, the writer emphasized that the teachers must comprehensively understand middle school students, improve the communication strategies, foster better class atmosphere, heighten the consciousness of law, transfer teachers' authority, make class rules, eliminate the obstacle behaviors and pay close attention to the latent crisis. On the aspect of how to remove the conflicts, the writer suggested to use the mode of Thomas' conflict management and initiated to deal with the conflicts by the means of using them.
