College students are the precious talent resource of our country. Since the transmission of talent higher education to mass higher education, more and more young Chinese gain the opportunity to receive higher education. However, as the number of graduates is greatly increased theses years, obtaining employment is becoming severer and severer. Therefore how to guide students obtain employment is the necessary requirement for keeping economy develop rapidly and persistently and building a healthy society. That is why employment guidance has always been a focus, hot spot, and difficulty of party committees, all circles of the society, academies and students and their parents. In the process of reforming our country's employment system, a new system has basically come into being which means market orientation, government controlling, school recommendation and mutual selection between students and employment units. The function of this mechanism depends not only on government, but also on the perfect of the employment guidance system.The regional academy students are faced with austere employment position. So carrying out research of employment guidance has both theoretical importance and practical meaning. Theoretically, theory research is the basis of any subject, employment guidance can not be away from existing theory and experience; Practically, there is a close relationship between teaching reform and talent training of regional academy. If we do research on the employment guidance in those schools, we will know more about the status quo and problems so as to establish employment guidance system suitable to regional economy and social development. Therefore, it is important for regional academy to use for reference theory and experience of home and abroad. Only in this way will they know more about situation, problems and promote the work of employment guidance there.On the basis of extensive material searching, this paper introduces relative concept and theory about employment guidance by applying literature method. Besides basic research of college employment guidance home and abroad, this paper does research on graduate quality, graduate thought, employment intent in the way of questionnaires. On the basis of analyzing and disposing the questionnaires, summarize the achievement gained by regional academy, analyze the status quo and problems of those schools. Finally, bring forward measures of how to promote sufficient employment, ie. Fully exert the macro controlling of local government, strengthen interactive cooperation of local government and regional academy, reinforce teachers for employment guidance and improve their integrated making, increase outlay for regional academy employment guidance and amend the working condition. The ultimate purpose is to found suitable employment guidance system by taking active measures and adapting to the local economic and social development.
