At present, in the spring tide of the reform of the physical education, meanwhile is extending and grouping, the requirements to higher education of physical is changing and reforming. Along with the popularity of the modern exercise activities, it goes along with the demands of modern alumina in physical and psychology that the extensive attention on lifelong physical education paid by the higher education, the penetration and influence of multi-culture and the appearance of the shape class as a new content in the physical education. The open of the shape class in the college is one of the results of the reform and explore of the P.E. in higher education, which is in order to adapt the social situation.The shape teaching to the undergraduates equals to neither the dance class of the dance school nor the competition gymnastics class of the P.E. College. It is not the pure grace exercise; it is a class integrated the gymnastics and the basic action of dance. The ages of the undergraduates are 18-24 which is in the back period of the adolescent. It's also the golden time of the life and the allergic period of the sharp change of the figure. Although the primary of deciding the figure is genetic element, environment; exercise can compensate the shortcomings and disability to some extent. Especially the most of the alumina of the normal college will be a teacher and teaching becomes their careers. They have strong demand on the good figure. So the figure teaching must build new concept, content, way of teaching to effectively help the students in good shape and make foundation for whole-life exercise. Nowadays the ways of teaching the figure class at normal college in Jilin province basically deprived from the traditional model of P.E. teaching which way is to master the skill. This model of teaching pays too much attention on the master of the skills and ignores the health conscience of the students'habits and the culture of the interest which can't meet the most students'demand. Therefore the author researched the teaching practice of women figure class at normal college in Jilin province and studied the positive influence of the figure class to the development of the woman's body and soul to teach properly in the figure class and carry on the teaching aim of culture and shape figure. In the base of clearing in the basic duty of figure class, defining the basic content of the figure class, paying attention to the complete and systematic of the figure class, this article intent to make the girl figure class effectively show the function of culture physical and soul and be taken as a reference for the reform of the figure class in higher education.
