Researches On Development Plans Of Vocational Education In Western Country Of China

Comparing with other areas in China,west is under-developed area. Most provinces here are agricultural provinces. The characteristic is that agriculture amounts to a very big part. Industrialization and urbanization level is a little bit lower. Structural inconsistencies is serious. World and domestic economy have been speeded up and bring the impact of knowledge-based economy from developed regions to western China.Professional education in the countryside is in close touch with rural social development. Developing rural professional education is favourable to deepen the reform of the rural education and thrive rural economy. Furthermore, it is a only way to speed up the progress of urbanization.According to the principles of'facing agriculture, rural areas and farmers'and human capital, the author of this dissertation will analyze current problems of western rural professional education and find out reasons for these problems. Finally, the author will propose remedial measures for existing problems which includes some key points as below. Western rural education should mainly focus on secondary vocational or technical education and closely link with higher vocational education. Expanding financing channels and placing great emphasis on diversification in the school system. Embarking on reform of course system and cultivating corps of double skilled teachers in order to ameliorate the western rural professional education service system.
