On The Equity Of Elementary Education And Construction Of Harmonious Society

Social equity is the value of human society's eternal pursuit for social justice. Educational equity is the embodiment and extention of social equity. Since 1949,education has obtained great development on the basis of the rapid achievements in economy. At the same time,the problem of educational equity becomes more and more obvious.In the background of constructing harmonious society,the equity of education has been paid more and more attention by researchers and ordinary people.Constructing harmonious society emphasizes that all the people can do everything they can do and get everything they should get,aimed to build a society which is"democratic and ruled by law,fair and just,honest and friendly,full of vitality,stable and ordinal,and people live harmoniously with nature".The principle nature of the harmonious society is social equity,while educational equity is basically the important basis for social equity.So the elementary education's equity is quite an impetus for constructing the harmonious society.Based on the background of constructing harmonious society and footed on the liberalism's equitable philosophy,the dissertation gives a summary of several philosophy's different concepts on equity and educational equity.And ,based on liberalism's equitable philosophy ,the dissertation also expounds the formal and essential principles about the educational equity.With so many data,the dissertation describes our nation's educational inequity in urban-rural gap,regional disparity,class gap and gender gap from three levels which are educational stock,educational increment and educational input.Then,the dissertation analysises the reasons of the educational inequity from external and internal factors.And finally,the dissertation builds its own frameworks about our China's educational equity in the field of elementary education.
