Vocational education which is an important part of the modern national education system, plays a special and important role in the implementation of science and education strategy. Social needs is the biggest driving force to the development of vocational education. Therefore, vocational education must adhere to the principle of service-guided and employment-oriented. As a result, research into the needs of enterprise post, determination of the direction of personnel training and quality standards, reform of curriculum design in the vocational school and optimization of the educational strategies have a positive meaning to improve the educational level of vocational students ,the employment rate, and the promotion of economic development.This article based on the research into literature and the areas, Suzhou as an example to an region, probes how to open up the curriculums of vocational education in such areas as the setting of majors, the content and structures of courses, and the cooperation of the school-enterprise by tracking survey of vocational school graduates and feedbacks of both graduates and business. The author thinks that vocational schools should adhere to the principle of employment-oriented, opening up the curriculum of systematic process, developing capacity-based vocational education, and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the vocational education.This article is divided into four sections. The first chapter, an introduction, discusses the necessity and significance of the research; The second chapter is focused on the previous theories and ideas related to the curriculum development and the present studying situation. Chapter III, the core of this presentation, analyzes the problems of the curriculun development on the basis of the resultof statistical data; Chapter IV puts forward the countermeasures to the problems in the studying process.
