Mental health is a concept of modern health an important component of good mental health of contemporary college students are mature growth and an important guarantee. Modern society's material progress and scientific and technological development in the contemporary college students give a great convenience and comfort,it also brought a negative impact,psychological imbalance and a variety of psychological barriers is also becoming evident.College Physical Education wants to implement the "Health First" idea,it is necessary to pay attention to the mental health of college students,therefore,suitable to explore the physical education model to promote the mental health of college students,are the current college physical education reform essential meaning,but also the implementation of quality education PE teaching of requests.Cooperative learning as a teaching model in Physical Education has been positive.Some studies have shown that the use of cooperative learning teaching model to improve the skills of studying the effect of exercise has a positive role in improving physical and mental health of students also have good results.In this paper, a literature survey,expert interviews,laboratory tests,mathematical statistics,logic analysis and comparative study of methods such as,first of all of Zhangjiakou City mental health of college students conducted a survey analysis,and then explore how the adoption of PE teaching to better promote the mental health of college students,and in accordance with the characteristics of basketball teaching and cooperative learning teaching model of research results,the use of experimental method of teaching,to further explore the use of teaching at basketball cooperative learning teaching model on the mental health of college students. Experiment with cooperative learning teaching model on the experimental group were tested intervention for 16 weeks,the control group during the experiment using the traditional teaching methods.At the same time,the SCL-90,GSES Scale and Comprehensive Evaluation of the methods separately measured before and after the experiment the experimental group and control group was the level of examination of mental health,self-efficacy and academic performance,and thus through the questionnaires and the experimental data statistics and analysis,the following findings:1.Zhangjiakou City mental health of college students significantly lower than the national norm in normal adults and college students is lower than the national norm,and the nine factors and the national norm,compared to normal adults there are very significant difference.Zhangjiakou City,college students have psychological problems and has serious psychological problems of detection rate of 21.51 percent,its main focus on the interpersonal sensitivity,anxiety,depression,paranoia,obsessive-compulsive symptoms.2.Zhangjiakou City,the level of female university students than male students of mental health,and in somatization,anxiety,fear factor on symptoms exist significant differences.3.The experimental results show that the experimental group were tested before the experiment after the experiment than the level of mental health significantly increased, especially interpersonal sensitivity and anxiety symptoms after the experiment has reached a very significant difference,depression,paranoia,obsessive-compulsive symptoms have also reached significant difference;while the control group were tested sensitive except Interpersonal relations have improved significantly,all other indicators were not a significant change.4.The experimental results show that the experimental group were tested after the experiment than before the experiment of self-efficacy and academic performance improved and reached a significant and very significant difference;the control group before and after the experiment although self-efficacy and academic performance improve,but no significant difference.After the experiment the experimental group self-efficacy and achievement are higher,and showed significant difference.The results show that at a basketball lesson options to implement cooperative learning teaching model on psychological well-marked effect,especially in the improvement of interpersonal relationships,resolve depression,anxiety and paranoia,etc.have a very significant role;and the use of traditional teaching model of the mental health of college students also must have the role,but the effect was not significant,indicating that option at a basketball lesson to implement cooperative learning teaching model on the mental health of college students a significant superior to the traditional teaching model.Cooperative learning teaching model because the implementation can take the initiative to interact and increase the exchanges between the students and help to form a harmonious interpersonal relationships, and create a pleasant learning atmosphere,ease the tension stress study,so more students to improve academic performance and self performance,thereby increasing the student's self-confidence and emotional experience of happiness,thereby also improving the students achieved the purpose of mental health status.Fully explained through the experimental study of cooperative learning teaching model of the implementation of the Mental Health of University Students must have a good impact,effectively improved the mental health of college students to promote the mental health of university students to develop and cultivate a good personality.
