Practical Research On The Class Leadership Group' Competencies Of The College Students

Colleges are the cradle of talent and the core force of the social construction. Classes of the college students are the basic cells of school system and the basic unit of school education, they are the basic positions of students'collective activities and the teaching of teachers, and the micro-environment which is closely related to students'learning and development. It can be seen, the levels of classes'construction and development, not only have a directly bearing on the quality of school education, but also have a direct impact on the individual students'learning life and healthy growth. As a special group, the class leadership groups of the college students, the levels of their knowledge, behavior, personality, drive and other factors directly affect the normal implementation of a series of activities, such as the class teaching, management, and so on. Therefore, as a class leadership of college students, what kinds of competencies should they have is an issue urgently need to be resolved.Under the premise of the full study of the literature and practical survey, this study is to study the class leadership group of the college students, combined with the actual situation of domestic colleges and universities, using survey research method. The survey sought to understand the composition of the competencies of the class leadership groups of the college students. In this paper, on the basis of going through a wealth of literature and expert evaluation, the design of the questionnaire adopt homemade competency questionnaire of the class leadership groups of the college students, combining interviews and open-ended questionnaire.On the basis of the statistical data of the initial questionnaire and formal questionnaire using SPSS, the author will divide the competency of the class leadership groups of the college students into two dimensions to carry out further research, according to expert assessment, namely, the team of the class leadership groups and the members of the class leadership groups. Then, on the basis of the factor analysis and the examination of reliability and validity, the author has come to draw a conclusion that the class leadership groups include following competencies:â‘ The competencies of class leadership groups consist of the deploitation and innovation, structural optimization, internal and external harmony, organizational loyalty and the implement of the responsibility;â‘¡The competencies of the members of class leadership consist of good character, general interest and outstanding capability. Through the comparative analysis of the outstanding class leadership groups and the non-outstanding ones, the author found that the two kind of class leaderships had differences in these eight competence factors, so that, the results have built the competency of class leadership of the college students.On the basis of having established the competency factors of the class leaderships of the college students, this study has put up a deeply comparative analysis of the variables of different grades, different types of schools, teachers and students. It also further supported the effectiveness and reliability of this study through a series of case studies.The results of this study will provide a valid reference point for the management of the class leadership groups of the college students, such as the selection and training, training and development, assessment and encouragement, and so on.
