Educational activities are jointly conducted by teachers and students, in which they are interacted and interplayed. With the interaction of the teachers and students the metabolic and developmental teacher-student relationship is formed .The teacher-student relationship is very important in education. It is a permanent focus for research into education. Researchers have ceaselessly researched and discussed it from different angles, but they didn't grasp the essence of the teacher-student relationship. The teacher-student relationship was mastered and its essence was shielded by traditional theory. The crisis in theory and practice has occurred. A series of questions are raised due to the present situation of the teacher-student relationship. What is the essence of the teacher-student relationship? What is the inner factor of influencing the teacher-student relationship? Which perspective is right from that we can understand the true meaning of the teacher-student relationship and solve the riddle of the development of the teacher-student relationship?Human beings are cultural lives. To understand human beings must firstly understand culture. When we understand culture, we will have a fully comprehension of human beings. The teacher-student relationship is a really complex cultural relationship. And culture is the basis and medium of the school and the existence of teacher-student relationship. The teacher-student relationship is influenced by many factors; however, cultural traditions are deep-seated reasons. The teacher-student relationship with different characteristics is usually formed in different cultural background.Now, China is in the transition period. The collision and blending among multi-cultures has been the trend of the world. Studying teacher-student relationship from cultural perspective will lead to the thorough understanding of the cultural motivation of its dissimilation.The first part clarifies the necessity of the widening of the culture perspective. Firstly, it analyzes the present situation of the teacher-student relationship, and points out that it was shielded. It also elaborate on the essence of the teacher-student relationship, then explains widening the perspective is necessary.The second part elaborates the inner factor of influencing the teacher-student relationship is traditional culture, and different features are formed under different cultural background. It deals with the variety of the characteristics of the teacher-student relationship in ancient culture and modern culture.In the third part, we mainly discuss the interaction of teacher culture and student culture from micro level. And we point out that the tensility or contradiction between teacher culture and student culture is ineluctable. The part also includes the signs and causes of the collision of the teacher culture and the student culture and the conformity of them.In the fourth part, we mainly look at the teacher-student relationship of multi-coexistence. Firstly, the exchanging of culture is the background of the rebuilding of the teacher-student relationship, and the idea of multi-culture is the base. Then, we clarify the implication and meaning of the teacher-student relationship of multi-coexistence. Finally, we point out that the teacher-student relationship of multi-cultural coexistence goes without saying.
