People's physiques are traditionally a very important issue concerned by all the countries in the world.The focus of the physiques study lies on the study of the students' physiques.College students are the pillars of the country,the middle-of-the-road forces of the society,the main productive forces of pushing the society forward and the main creators of social wealth.One third of the college students are females who are of great importance to colleges and society.They are the assets of the country.The female college students have high education and upbringing as well as strong main consciousness.As an important part of the talents resources,they play an irreplaceable part in the development of history.The future task for the female college students are very tough.After graduation, they not only have the burden of constructing the country,but also should fulfill the holy mission of being a mother.Therefore,their health conditions will directly influence the future of the country.As a popular event and game welcomed by college students especially the female college students,Latin dance has already been widely carried out in the colleges.It is a new event and game which involves sport,dance and art and its tempering value cannot be underestimated.This paper adapts the 33 female juniors of the Huanggang Normal University who participate in the amateur Latin dance training as the research target.It uses document and material method,trail method,mathematical method and comparison method to train and observe the research target for one term and analyses part of the physiological norm before and after training.The result of the research shows:1.After one term's training of amateur Latin dance,the 33 female college students' average heights increased and they lost weight.This shows that the training of Latin dance can effectively decrease weight and burn fat.Their height,weight and BMI index all have marked differences and their body shapes improved.2.After one term's training of amateur Latin dance,the 33 female college students' average vital capacity rapidly increased.The vital capacity before and after training and the index of vital capacity and weight all have marked differences.Flight of steps trail also shows that the training of Latin dance has positive effects on the improvement of female college students' heart and blood vessels functions.The result shows that long-time training of Latin dance has marked effects to increase trainees' heart and blood vessels functions.3.After one term's training of amateur Latin dance,the 33 female college students' legs strength increased obviously and had marked differences before and after training.But their upper limbs strength has no marked differences.This is concerned with few training of their upper limbs strength during the training of Latin dance.
