Research On The Development And Application Of Project Curriculum Model In Baking Major Of Vocational School

The modern vocational curriculum model has developed its new key features in the last few years, and we name it the Project-Oriented Curriculum Model. By setting the students' professional abilities development as its aims, this new model links the real working process with the curriculum, arranges the courses with the detailed working tasks and assesses the students' achievements by evaluating the specified products or services they provided. This thesis aims to do some research on the application and development of the professional courses in Baking Major, based on the concept of new Project Curriculum Model.Firstly, this thesis presents the project-oriented curriculum goals of baking major in vocational school, which proceed from the needs of specification for the personnel development of baking businesses. Secondly, this thesis develops the working structure by analyzing the tasks of baking manufactures. Then we catagorize curriculums of the Baking major under the principles of mutual independence, concise and comprehension. Then this thesis converts the businesses working structure into the course structure and develops the project curriculum structure of Baking major, on the basis of baking businesses working structure. Moreover, this thesis develops the content of the project curriculum of baking profession, starting with the knowledge from the analysis of Baking manufactures. Combining with the theory of working task model in vocational education, we organizing the curriculum contents and develops the project curriculum, textbooks and textbook models of Baking major. At last the thesis explores the practical effects of the project curricum of Baking major, based on the practical application and operation of project-oriented curriculum in Guangzhou Baiyun Industrial and Commercial Senior Technical School.
