The key to the development of higher education lies in the development and management of the human resources in colleges and universities and the teaching body is the key resources of them. The particularity of university teachers' education background and their vocation determine their needs with different characteristics from common people,among which the main characteristic is paying attention to the independence of personality and freedom. However, the traditional rigid managing patern of Chinese colleges and universities has restricted the creativity and initiative of teachers seriously. While flexible management on human resources,which emphasizes on making the bestof personnel on the basis of respecting,valuing and understanding people,is really a kind of pattern that suits to manage high-quality and high IQ staff. Therefore, making a systematic research on the application of flexible human resources management pattern towards university teachers has great sinificance in both theory and practice.In the last part of this thesis we select one college in Beijing as a representative for pragmatic proof in order to prove the concrete theory model feasibility,to make the theory and practicecombination and to realize thegoal that the theory serves for practice.
