Study On The Oritentaion Of The Goal Of Compulsory Education In Rural Areas Under The Background Of Urban-Rural Integration

China has stepped into a stage in which industry should promote the development of agriculture and urban the development of rural area in total.17th National Congress of the CPC report has proposed " integration of urban and rural economic and social development " first, this means that China has begun to break the social structure of urban-rural opposition, enters the urban and rural integration development stage gradually. Urban-rural integration demands to plan as a whole urban and rural economy society culture development of every aspect, Compulsory education in rural areas is one kind of social undertaking, its reform and development is an important part of integrated development of urban and rural areas. Meanwhile, Compulsory education in rural areas reform is an important means to improve the quality of the rural population, to promote integrated development of urban and rural areas, which have an important role for speeding up the process of urbanization and the construction of socialist new countryside.A single oritentaion of" entering a higher school-being away from the rural" of compulsory education in rural areas takes the limitation facing obvious under the background of urban-rural Integration,which is difficult to meet the requirements of individual all-round development of rural students, affected the spread of compulsory education and improve the quality of compulsory education; which is hard to narrow the gap between urban and rural areas, affect the integration of urban and rural ultimately. Theoretically, there is a paradox of "serving for rural area" or "deviating from rural area",Although the two sides view each has a certain rationality, but the limitations should not be ignored.Judging by compulsory education in rural areas in which the urban-rural integration backgroud,the realistic needs of the educational objects and the characteristics of compulsory education,the oritentaion of the goals of compulsory education in rural areas should change a single oritentaion of " entering a higher school-being away from the rural", to eliminate the oppostion of "serving for rural area" or "deviating from rural area", based in rural practice, insist on the oritentaion which serving for urban-rural Integration, take promoting individual all-round development as basic purpose, combine education with practice and work,establish integration of goals that the qualified citizen who will enter higher school and get job.
