With application of Knowledge management theories and methods by computing, Microsoft, Intel, Lotus, HP, Motorola, some have developed strategies for implementing knowledge management. Taking knowledge resources as companies, most important strategic resource, evolving its company to learning organization, acquiring and using knowledge to the maximum extent and as the key factors.With the popularization of higher education, internationalization and diversification of educational needs, having increased competition among universities, universities have entered the "Warring States Period." As a special knowledge industry, university must enhance its core competitiveness. University is a typical knowledge-intensive organization, knowledge is the core of university resources, and its operation is to create value for the core assets. College core competence is the foundation of knowledge, and knowledge management implementation is to improve organizational performance and to create access and use knowledge during the process, introduction of knowledge management is to enhance core competitiveness of universities as its effective strategy.Since university being a learning organization, knowledge-based economy puts forward higher requirements for education higher Implementing knowledge management in universities, integrating teachers' knowledge for knowledge acquisition and processing, exchanging and sharing, innovating and adding values, improving education, research and social service level management system and operational mechanism to promote reform, and enhance the university's ability to adapt to social development, has become the pressing need of reform and development.The main purpose of this paper is to apply the theory of knowledge management into university management, to systematically study knowledge management implementation system, knowledge management mode, knowledge management in universities on three categories of knowledge production activities.
