Chinese traditional festivals are rich in educational value, not only can promote children's social development, cultivate mental and physical hands-on ability of subtle manipulation, but also gain the traditional virtues in the transmission. Integrating family and community resources into traditional festival education, which can enrich the content and form of kindergarten teaching, deepen the exchanges of feelings between children and parents. And which is one effective way to achieve educational force among kindergartens, families and communities.It uses questionnaire, interview, observation and material analysis in this study. Surveying kindergarten teachers and parents through questionnaire, followed by in-depth interviews with teachers and community members, while observing the traditional festival activities of kindergarten, and collect the relevant lesson plans of traditional festivals. Through the above data collection and analysis, this study pays attention to the value, content, form, evaluation and impact of the factors on the use of family and community resources in Chinese traditional festival education.The results show that the value of family and community resources carried out in traditional festival education of kindergarten is remarkable. There are relatively rich in content and various forms such as the Spring Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival and Lantern Festival; The main evaluator of traditional festival education in kindergarten tends to be diversified; It's relatively mature in the use of family resources.However, there are a number of deficiencies:Kindergartens have a poor sense of education conducting about Qingming Festival and Chinese valentine's day; There are few evaluation indexes about traditional festival in kindergartens. The utilization of community resource is not high; Parents have week consciousness of their own educational value and potential resources; Communities are reluctant to cooperate with and has misleading impact on social environment.According to this study, following recommendations are made:To upgrade knowledge of kindergarten teachers about traditional festival culture; To Focus on multiplicity of evaluation in traditional festivals; To take full advantage of the potential value of community resources; Vigorously to promote parents their own educational value and tap their potential resources; To emphasize on community culture and cooperation.
