The teacher in charge of class is a collective organizer and manager who plays the role of the vinculum with the teachers of all branches.The teacher in charge of class links up the school,the family and even the society.With the development of the society,the competition becomes more violent,the concept transforms more quickly,the network society arrives,and the new curriculum reform implements deeply.Facing up the new changes,the primary school pupils'physical and psychological characteristics bring the primary school teachers in charge of classes all sorts of new requests that urge them to transform traditional thinking modes and the working ways.In this transformation how is the survival condition of the primary school teachers in charge of classes? This thesis studied the survival condition, including job status, living conditions, psychological state in these three areas, by these three aspects of the investigation and research, reveals the current primary school class teacher working and living and psychological state, Reflect the reality of its existence, and thus raise questions targeted solutions to improve the survival condition of primary school class teacher, to promote the sound development of China's basic education has a positive meaning.This article has a comprehensive study of the national and Shanghai work-related laws, regulations and policies on the class teachers,as the theoretical basis for further investigation. Then the author establishes Questionnaire of the survival condition of Shanghai primary school teacher in charge of class on the basis of forecasting and selects 200 samples in ten public primary schools in Shanghai and then uses statistical software SPSS 11.5 for Windows to input and analyze the data. Generally speaking,the result displays that the current survival conditions of primary school teacher in charge of class in Shanghai is heavy workload, stressful, some professional skills need to improve urgently, job satisfaction should be improved, poor physical health, leisure life is monotonous, and so on.Finally,this thesis carries on a synthesis consideration on the basis of investigation and analysis and provides the effective suggestions for the educational administration departments as well as the school superintendents in order to enhance the enthusiasm of the teacher in charge of class ultimately to promote our elementary education in a benign way.
