A Study Of Students' Participation In The Management Of Colleges And Universities

Students'participation in the management of colleges and universities is the direction of development in the management of colleges and universities since the reform and opening up, and the purpose of this study is the theory and solution in the new situation of students'participation in the management of colleges and universities. We hope that we can probe into the base of theory an solution of students'participation in the management of colleges and universities in our own country through the analysis of problems involved in students'paticipation in management and reference the experience of students'paticipation in management in western countries. This research use the research methods of combination of theory, practice and current status.There are five chapters in this dessition: The first chapter is the introduction, which describes the background,concept, purpose and significance of this study, it summary results of previous studies, define the concept of research, and propose research methods and the interpretation. The second chapter describes the history and positive of students'paticipation in management in western countries. The third chapter focuses on analysis of history, current situation, problems, and causes of students'paticipation in management in our countries and clearity that students'paticipation in management is the trend of social development. Chapter Four contruct the model of students'paticipation in management in our county from the management theory, and analyze the related elements in students'paticipation, and build a theoretical framework to solve the problem. Chapter Five focus on the measures of promoting students'paticipation in China. Chapter Four and Chapter Five are the main part of this thesis. Conclusion is summary of the theory and practice of students'participation in the management of colleges and universities in our country.
