| The twenty-first century is the era of knowledge economy, which plays a leading role. In this era, knowledge is increasingly becoming one of the most important wealth of organizations. Acquisition, transfer, application of knowledge and creativity are becoming the core source of competitiveness of individuals and organizations. In addition, as China's national rejuvenation through science comprehensive implementation strategy, the reform continued intensive as well as the implementation of the new curriculum reform; every school and teacher face with a severe challenge. Facing such a challenge, schools and teachers must improve their quality and competitiveness in order to meet'the needs of diverse and open education. Based on the above background, it is great significant to introduce knowledge management into the development of schools and teachers in schools to enhance the competitiveness and the professional quality of teachers.This study analyzes the domestic and international research status on educational knowledge management and teacher professional development. Meanwhile, it also explains and defines the relative theories and concepts on teacher knowledge, teacher practice community, teachers'knowledge management and professional development. The present study investigates the professional development and knowledge management of 180 primary and secondary teachers in Linfen City. Based on theoretical research and analysis of the survey result, with the help of ASP technology, the present study develops a teacher knowledge management system, which regards a school as a unit, for the primary and secondary teachers according to the needs of primary and secondary teachers and knowledge management system. The main functions of the system include:teachers as users login and register, teacher various teaching knowledge is uploaded, downloaded and searched, teaching problem library, education and teaching forum, blog groups of teachers and so on. Finally, based on analysis of comprehensive documentation and the ideas of other scholars, the present study puts forward some strategies and methods in the actual use for teachers'knowledge management system to give the primary and secondary schools and teachers some references according to knowledge management strategy, recessive knowledge sharing methods and teacher professional development cycle.Further works of this study includes the trial of the knowledge management system for primary and secondary school teachers, the improvement and perfect of the system function and promotion and application of the system. |
