Under the framework of Skopos Theory, this thesis analyzes the applicability andfeasibility of the variation. Combined with the feature of business interpretation,cultural differences in China and the West, and subjectivity of interpreters, this thesiselaborates on the necessity of the variation in business interpretation. This thesisexplores the application of selective interpretation, editing interpretation, explanatoryinterpretation and adaptation within business interpretation with many vivid examples.This thesis also discusses how to keep intratextual coherence in interlingualtransformation and realize the optimization of communicative function in using themethods of variation.
