With the deepening of China’s industrial upgrading, the economic exchange between China and foreign countries becomes more frequent. Nowadays the global economy is stagnant, but China’s economy is still developing very well, which has become a driver of Asian economy. As a result, the change of China’s economic development is paid close attention to by the western world and the study of China’s economy has also become the hot topic in the western world. The author chooses “The China Files: Chinese Economy through 2020”, which revealed by Morgan Stanley Research Asia/Pacific in November 8, 2010 as the source text in which the text and language features are concluded in the economic research report as well as some translation strategies in accordance with the different features, also the conclusion of this translation practice included. Hopefully, this practice can serve as a reference for those translation practices of the same type.
