A Study On Land-lost Peasants Pension Insurance In The Process Of Urbanization

Urbanization is an inevitable trend of China economic and society development. Accompanied by this progress, a great number of peasants lost their lands, and become a vulnerable and bordering group "land-lost peasants". In fact, Land expropriation influences peasants'livelihood in six aspects, such as land-lost, incoming-decreased, unemployment, and so on. On one hand, China Land compensation system exists defects. On the other hand, Land-lost peasants have difficult in obtaining jobs and family incoming. So land-lost peasants are unable to secure their aging years'life. So, how to build land-lost peasants pension insurance system has become an important researching area.Qingdao Development Zone as a developing coastal city, urbanizing fast in recent years, produced a great number of land-lost peasants, and accumulated rich experience of land-lost peasants pension insurance. For that reason, the author take this area for example to investigate the problem of land-lost peasants pension insurance The author analyzes the position of land-lost peasants pension insurance in China pension insurance system, then points the important effect of employment to the development of land-lost peasants pension insurance. The most important, the author indicates that this pension insurance system should be built in the principle of sustainable development of land-lost peasants livelihoods.This thesis includes six parts:Chapter I, Introduction. This part briefly describes the backgrounds, Theoretical overview, research significance and methods, then defines two fundamental conceptions "land-lost peasants" and "land-lost peasants pension insurance".ChapterⅡ, Analysis of China Urbanization progress. This part focus on China Urbanization progress in recent 30 years, analyzes the expropriation compensation system, compare all kinds of compensation measures。 ChapterⅢ, Researching on land-lost peasants pension insurance system. The author explains the view of sustainable development of lost-land peasants livelihoods, and points the important effect of employment to the development of this peasants pension insurance system. At last, the author elaborates How to build the peasants pension insurance system in details.ChapterⅥ, Survey on land-lost peasants pension insurance in Qingdao Development Zone. As the main parts, it includes the presentation of land-lost peasants pension insurance, the analysis of survey results, especially about the payment, the pension level, and the satisfaction level. At last, the author points out the defects in land-lost peasants pension insurance system of this area.Chapter V, Strategy and suggestion.
