Nature gas, as a high quality and clean source of energy as well as an industrial chemical, has a profound significance to improvement of energy structure, protection of atmospheric environment and remission of petroleum supply tension, in addition to improving energy utilization efficiency and promoting national economic sustainable development. After stepping into 21s t century, against the background of exploration and development breakthrough in petroleum industry, and infrastructure construction promotion, natural gas's application field has greatly expanded and natural gas itself has attracted much attention of the public. Actually, marketing is a key factor that bridges natural gas's production and its value realization. After 2001, the supply and demand status quo of Changqing oilfield has fundamentally changed, from over supply to short supply. Facing the multivariate competition pattern of China's natural gas market, conducting researches on marketing strategy of natural gas market, can help Changqing oilfield to formulate a production-oriented marketing strategy and lead Changqing oilfield to a sustainable, green and healthy development road, over the concern of natural gas market changes and Changqing oilfield's natural gas reserves and production capacity.This paper, selecting Changqing oilfield's natural gas marketing strategy formulation as study object, has applied the following marketing strategies, like product strategy, promotion strategy, pricing strategy, channel strategy as well as green marketing, to analyze Changqing oilfield natural gas's macro-environment, competition environment and inner environment. Based on China natural gas market's strategic planning, combined with foreign oil companies'ripe experience and creative studies of natural gas marketing, this paper, from the following aspects sets a marketing strategy for Changqing oilfield, including the selection of target market, the formulation of overall marketing scheme, pricing and the construction of marketing team. This paper gets the conclusion that Changqing oilfield, considering its reserves and production capacity, should avoid natural gas market's malignant expansion, what's more, it should respect the supply-and-demand law, regard customers'demand as supreme importance, and uphold the social responsibility. By these means, to change the marketing model from first station sale to the end sale, meaning to directly face the terminal natural gas users, Changqing oilfield can get economic surplus and can constitute a sales pattern containing production, transportation and marketing.
