Performance Appraisal is an important function of Human Resource Management. The important and necessity have already been accepted by many companies. In order to build or optimized the Performance Appraisal Systems, many companies have put great effort on it. Companies in different industry, in different development period and in different strategy background may have different ways on Performance Appraisal. It has proven, only the Performance Appraisal fits the company's feature, it can really motivate the employees, and realize the goals of both the employees and the organization.The company has put their eyes on how to improve the organization performance, how to increase their core competition through the performance appraisal. This paper starts from the theory of performance appraisal to research a medium of company (Hebei Jinxing Industry and Trade Limited Company) , basis the concretely practice of Hebei Jinxing Industry and Trade Limited Company, discusses how to design a proper performance appraisal system for corporation.At first, the paper introduces the theory of performance evaluation; make the definition of performance, performance management and performance appraisal. Make sure that the performance appraisal could provide the information of the reward, promote and retire for Human Resource Management.Secondly, the paper studies the situation of the industry and the human resource management in Hebei Jinxing Industry and Trade Limited Company. According to the information learned from the company, we analyzes the problems exist in it.Then, the paper describes the process of how to design Hebei Jinxing Industry and Trade Limited Company's Performance appraisals. Basis the idea of Balanced Score Card, the article set up the principle and the way design the proper Key Performance Indicator appraisal system on the basis of Hebei Jinxing Industry and Trade Limited Company station and its development periods.Finally, the paper had roundly checkup and evaluated the performance appraisals in the company.
