Analysis Of Effects On Wuhan City Economy Development By Producer Service Industry

Since the 1980s, the producer service industry has become one of the most important categories of service industry. As the pillar industry in many west developed countries, producer service industry becomes remarkable important in the international economy and competition. In many countries-especially the developed countries-the proportion of the added value of producer service industry to service industry is up to 40%. Producer service industry is useful for the development of the internationalized city, such as New York and Tokyo. There is close relation between producer service industry and city economy development. The industry is important for promoting the city economy development and competitive power and reforming industry structure. Researching on the producer service industry in Wuhan not only can realize the present situation of the industry, but also can promote the economy developing level of Wuhan. In addition, it can accelerate manufacturing industry development in Wuhan, and explore the industry rising in the midst of China.In the base of domestic and foreign research results of producer service industry, this paper builds a comprehensive strength evaluating indicator system for producer service industry, which can evaluate the present situation of the industry in Wuhan and find out the problems. Secondly, this paper proves the relationship between producer service industry and Wuhan city economy development. In addition, it analyzes the effects on city GDP and employment rate by producer service industry and find out the restriction factor. Finally, it points out the policy proposal from many aspects such as industry itself, market, labor and government movements, in order to promote the industry and Wuhan city economy.
