Building harmonious labor relations is not only a significant factor in building a harmonious society, but also an indispensable part of Chinese private enterprise's development in the trend. Under the fact of fierce global market competition, the competitiveness of private enterprise determines its market position and the development in future. Businesses and employees are a win-win contradiction using the labor force of productivity as a joint. Enterprises meet the needs of employees and the staff makes a positive contribution to the enterprise, which are mutually reinforcing. In private enterprise, the common development of enterprise and employees directs building harmonious labor relations as a spirit.In order to build harmonious labor relations which running as a distinct competitive advantage, the thesis takes private enterprise as the research target in the viewpoint of enhancing firm competitiveness. In the first place, it sorts out the linkages as well as the interactions between harmonious labor relations and firm competitiveness. Next, it analyses the effects of business management system playing in the conversion between the two roles. Then through the empirical study of Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd., the paper puts forward new ideas of governing labor relations, and builds a new framework for it at last.This study not only proposes new ways for building harmonious labor relations in private enterprises, but also explores a new perspective to enhance their firm competitiveness.
