The domestic and overseas background of the development for grenade launcher hitched on the gun are introduced in this paper.Based on the development, a new kind of launch method can be used to design the grenade launcher. This emphases of the new method is mainly about using the energy both form the powder gas of bullet and the powder gas of bullet without warhead, the gas flow into container to launch grenade. A new kind of ammunition is also used for launching the grenade. The classic interior ballistic trajectory, weapon aerodynamics theory and weapon systemic dynamics are used for setting up this mathematic model. During the analysis of interior ballistic trajectory, some important parameters can be confirmed, which can be the basic of the further design.This paper also includes using some software such as Pro/E and Visual Basic for calculation.The work in this paper is mainly about using software to build up three-dimensional modeling and calculate the parameters for interior ballistic. Man-machine interactive interface is used in the software. And the parameters about movements of the powder gas need to be ascertained.On the base of the analysis, parameters for the universal dynamics simulation is developed. Finally the parameters of grenade launcher are also optimized in this paper, which offer the direction to improve the capability of this new weapon.
