Abstract/Summary:
The domestic and overseas background of the development of grenade launcher hitched on the gun is introduced in this paper. Based on the theory of direction-finding gas operated device of automatic weapon, a new kind of grenade launcher hitched on the gun model has been designed. There is no independent launching device attached to grenade launcher in the design of the model, so the launching of the grenade is to use the gas which comes from the airway to squeeze metallic film of grenade so as to ignite primer powder and the propellant powder. Two kinds of muzzle velocity, i.e. low speed and high speed can be obtained by changing the size of the airway of the grenade launcher, so that the weapon can achieve different tactics such as the close-range shooting and the long-range shooting. The establishment of three-dimensional model is based on35mm grenade launcher hitched on the12.7mm caliber machine gun which is mounted on the tripod. Software ADAMS should be utilized for the analysis of dynamic simulation.In the design of this paper, the mathematical model of the new type grenade launcher hitched on the gun should be established; the process of launching which is on the basis of the theory of gas dynamics of automatic weapon, dynamics of weapon system, classic interior ballistics should be programmed and analyzed; various facets which have effect on the muzzle velocity of the grenade launcher should be compared and analyzed in details. To obtain ballistic parameters of machine gun, gas pressure of powder in the airway of grenade launcher and ballistic parameters in chamber of grenade launcher for different periods, SolidWorks which can simulate three-dimensional model and MATLAB which can program the corresponding procedure should be utilized, the corresponding parameters which affect the chamber pressure of grenade launcher and muzzle velocity can be changed through the analysis of calculation.Based on the analysis of the model, a series of valuable data and curves for reference which can provide some theoretical guidance for the design of the grenade launcher hitched on the gun in future can be obtained through the simulation computation for the new type of grenade launcher hitched on the gun.
