Teacher burnout is a series of extreme reaction because of the physical and psychological exhaustion, decrease of the working ability, the loss of working enthusiasm, the indifference towards others as well as the low sense of achievement in working, which are caused by the inefficient mitigation of long term working pressure. It is also a burnt out state in emotion, attitude and behavior under the long and high lever pressure.Investigation objects:some teachers from eight vocational colleges in Changsha. Chief contributiion:(1) The thesis built and proved "VCT burnout survy"; It came to a conclusion:VCT burnout is made up of emotional exhaustion, Depersonalization and Reduced personal accomplishment. It matches the three-Dimensions of Maslah Burnout Inventory(MBI). It also proved the rationality of MBI. "VCT burnout survy" meets the requirements of scale design can be used for reference through validation analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, item analysis, exploratory analysis,ect. This survey selected eight vocational colleges for investigation in Changsha and collected 274 questionaires. It appears that VCT burnout is not so serious. Depersonalization and emotional exhaustion scores is slight higher (2) The thesis compiled "VCT burnout influence factors survy". It includes five parts:It is obviously related to individule factor, job factor, organization factor,students factor and society factor. Among them, individule organization and job are chief factors.This study provide some advice on lightening, eliminating, and preventing teacher's burnout with the help of society, organization, and individules.This study, to some extent, will enrich the burnout theory, provide the research support on living examples of teacher burnout...
