Ⅰ.Background and purpose of thesis topic selection1.Backgrounds The current world has already turned into a full new time of knowledge, information and globalization. Challenged the time, human resource management (HRM) has become a key factor for enterprises/ organizations winning competitive advantages, and its status and roles is becoming more and more important in the enterprises/organizations. Integrating Performance Management (IPM)--the main contents of HRM, like a key, is a valid tool to open the treasury of human resource. Therefore, it is the demand of the time to human resource IPM, it is the inevitable choice of the enterprises/organizations in the new age.2.PurposesAiming the demands of the time, the composition purpose of this thesis is based on two aspects: on the one hand, through the academic research of the IPM, to inspect, verify, and instruct the IPM actions by using the effective theories of Human Resource Performance Management;on the other hand, basing on the study of the IPM cases of enterprises/organizations, this thesis tries to make a further improvement on the theory and seek out the approaches for applying the theory. Ⅱ.Basic methods of thesis researchIn this thesis, by taking advanced modern HRM theory as the basis and adopting the method of combining cases and demonstrations, the Performance Management of Xichang Power Supply (XCPS) is fully diagnosed, and the IPM of this enterprise is fully studied based on the diagnosis.Ⅲ.Thesis structure and main contentsIn this thesis, the diagnosis of the HRM of XCPS is first carried out, following the elaboration of the theoretical basis of implementing the IPM, the IPM of this enterprise is fully studied, and a conclusion is obtained from the above research.The thesis consists of three chapters. Chapter 1, general description of HRM of XCPS and its Performance Management diagnosis, which consist of:(1) general description and enterprise characteristics;(2)human resource status and structural analysis;(3)HRM practice;(4)Performance Management diagnose;(5)the necessity of implementing IPM. The key point of this chapter is to fully diagnose the Performance Management of XCPS by analysing and studying its human resource status, finding out the main existed problems in the Performance Management, and expounding the necessity of implementing IPM.In chapter 2, the IPM Of XCPS is described. This chapter is the key part of the thesis. The main contents are as follows:1.The related elaboration of the IPM. It needs to specially point out that, subject to the research purpose of the thesis, the effect management of the staffing an enterprise/organization is defined as Performance Appraisal, the effect management of the sub-organizations/groups in an enterprise/organization is defined as Performance Management, and the effect examination of the staff and the effect management of the sub-organizations/groups and the organic amalgamation with the enterprise integrative effect management in an enterprise/organization are defined as IPM.2.The design principle of the IPM of XCPS.3.The IPM proposal and its contents of XCPS, which include the following two aspects:(1)the procedure of the IPM;(2)the IPM proposal and its primary contents.4.The feasibility research of the IPM proposal.5.The implementing, feedback and revision of the IPM proposal of XCPS.6.The assessment and analysis of implementing IPM proposal in XCPS.In chapter 3 , the enlightenment of implementing IPM proposal in XCPS is described. The main contents include:(1)the basic conclusion of the research on the IPM in XCPS;(2)the enlightenment of the research on the IPM in XCPS.Ⅳ.Basic conclusion of the thesis The basic conclusion of the thesis can be summed up from two aspects: on the one hand, the basic conclusion of the research on IPM in XCPS;on the other hand, the enlightenment of the research on IPM in XCPS.
