Nowadays domestic and international enterprises begin to think much of performance management and the successful implementation of performance management is assured by the enterprise policies and idea, organization environment and the effort of its employees. It is very useful and meaningful for power enterprises to carry out performance management effectively in the process of the reform of electricity system. Taking Changzhou Power Supply Company as an example, this article lays great emphasis on introducing the company's fruitful implementation processes such as establishing the duty book system of index appraisal by bringing in the objectives management, supervising and controlling the implementation of performance management by enhancing the process management, paying more attention to improving the performance by using benchmarking management and verification of the total integrated management system, choosing the typical department to practice 360- degree performance appraisal. Through the analysis and meditation on the existing problems, the article puts forward the idea to deepen and perfect performance management of the firm. The idea is to establish key performance indexes which can be handed over to each layer using the balanced scorecard as a valid tool, introduce and popularize the appraisal method of main-basis two member in the perfect timing , with establishment of the model of post capability.
